Text or Die is a fast-paced and original casual game where you try to type words long enough to keep your character from getting devoured by a shark.
Text or Die's premise is as follows: you're assigned an avatar with which you compete against other players from around the world in five-person challenges. In each challenge, all the avatars are on a platform above the water, but the tide is rising, and a giant shark is circling, waiting to eat you. To keep your platform above the water, use the keyboard that appears on the screen to respond to the prompts. For example, in response to 'write the name of a US president,' your goal is not only typing the name correctly, but also trying to respond with the longest answer possible, since each letter boosts your platform, thus giving you an advantage over the other competitors.
You'll get various prompts, such as 'write the name of a subject,' 'write the name of an organ,' and more. If your platform doesn't get enough height, it will sink into the water, and a giant shark will appear to take you away, thus ending the game.
